Reklin

Reklin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam group, which has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects.

Composition

Each ml contains:
active substance: meloxicam – 15 mg
Water for injections BP q.s.

Indications for use

  • for short-term symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis or ankylosing spondylitis (when the use of oral or rectal dosage forms of the drug is contraindicated).

Mode of application

Reklin solution for injection is intended solely for injection into the muscle. Intravenous administration of the solution is contraindicated. Intramuscular administration is used in the first days of therapy. In the future, they switch to the internal use of the drug in the form of tablets.

In case of exacerbation of arthrosis, 7.5 mg is prescribed once a day. You can increase the dosage to 15 mg if the therapeutic effect is insufficient.

With ankylosing spondylitis and rheumatoid arthritis – 15 mg 1 time per day. If a sufficient therapeutic effect is observed, then the daily dosage is reduced to 7.5 mg once a day. It is not recommended to exceed the dosage of the drug Reklin 15 mg per day.

Given the possible incompatibility, the contents of Reklin ampoules should not be mixed in the same syringe with other drugs.

In patients with an increased risk of adverse reactions and severe renal failure, who are on hemodialysis, the dose should not exceed 7.5 mg per day. The dosage regimen of Reklin for intramuscular injections in children and adolescents has not yet been determined; this dosage form can only be used in adult patients.

The maximum recommended daily dose is 15 mg.
