Diosperidin

Diosperidin has venotonic and angioprotective properties. At the venous level, it reduces the distensibility of veins and venous congestion.

Composition

Each film coated tablet contains: diosmin – 450 mg; hesperidin – 50 mg.

Excipients: sodium starch glycollate, cellulose microcrystalline, gelatin, glycerol, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium sterate, talc, OPADRY OY-S-23046.

Indications for use

  • treatment of the symptoms and signs of organic and idiopathic, functional, chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs, such as heavy legs, pain, heat sensation, edema, functional impairment, nocturnal cramps and in adjunction with conventional treatment in venous leg ulcers.
  • treatment of the symptoms of acute hemorrhoidal attacks, and chronic hemorrhoidal disease.

Mode of application

For oral use.

Treatment of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs: The usual dose is 2 tablets daily once in the mid-day morning and again in the evening, with meals. After one week of administration, 2 tablets once daily with meals.

Treatment of haemorrhoids: The usual dose is 2 tablets daily once in the mid-day morning and again in the evening with meals. After one week of administration, 2 tablets once daily with meals.

Treatment of acute haemorrhoidal attacks: 6 tablets daily during the first 4 days, after 4 tablets daily during the next 3 days with meals. Daily dosage should be divided into 2 or 3 administrations.

Your doctor will determine the course of treatment and dosage depending on the indications for use and your current condition. The average duration of treatment is 2-3 months.
